Inspiration
The inspiration for this webpage came from exploring new ways to interact with and consume entertainment. Rather than creating a game, I decided to focus on the interactive side of media experiences.
What it does
This webpage allows users to interact in a 3D environment, making it easy to look up information or discover new music, depending on which section of the site you're on.
How I built it
I built this project primarily using JavaScript and the Three.js library. Additional libraries and HTML were also used to streamline development and enhance functionality.
Challenges I ran into
One challenge I encountered was working with JSON file formats and figuring out how to effectively integrate that data into visual "cards" on the site.
Accomplishments I'm proud of
I'm especially proud of the interactive music gallery. It makes discovering and listening to new music seamless—as long as there's an internet connection.
What I learned
I learned how to use various JavaScript libraries to create and render 3D content on the web.
What's next for Interactive Media
Next, I plan to improve the Video Search page, aiming to bring it closer in functionality and design to the Music Gallery.
