This project came to life because we saw a real need for people to be able to manage their health from home—especially in a world where convenience and accessibility matter more than ever. With everything going digital, I wanted to create something that could make it easier for people to keep track of their health, ask questions, and feel supported by AI when they needed it most.
As I worked on this, I learned a ton about web development, especially using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to build a simple yet responsive app. I also had to figure out how to make the chatbot work in a way that actually answered health-related questions, which was a bit tricky at first but so rewarding once it clicked. One of the main challenges was getting the chatbot to sound helpful and responsive even though we were keeping it simple, without an advanced backend.
I couldn’t have done it without my team partner, though. We mostly worked through online chats and meetings, sharing ideas and helping each other troubleshoot when things weren’t going quite right. It was great to have that kind of support, especially when we hit a few bumps in the road.
For the design, I used CodePen for quick experimentation, Tiny.host to get the app online, and Freepik for the logo to give it a more professional touch. All of these tools helped bring everything together and gave the project a polished look.
There were definitely some challenges along the way—especially with the AI chatbot—but we made it work, and I’m really proud of what we created. It’s a work in progress, but I’m excited to keep improving it!
