Inspiration
From museums and historical sites that i visit
What it does
5G-powered AR applications at museums and historical sites using Bedrock to generate contextual stories, answer visitor questions, and create personalized cultural narratives. IoT sensors track visitor movement to provide location-specific content and adapt experiences in real-time.
How we built it
i build with assistance from claude
Challenges we ran into
5G Coverage Limitations
Inconsistent 5G coverage in historic buildings with thick stone walls or underground galleries Dead zones in remote archaeological sites or outdoor heritage locations Network handoff issues as visitors move between different coverage areas High infrastructure costs for museums to implement private 5G networks
Device Compatibility and Fragmentation
Wide variety of visitor smartphones and tablets with different AR capabilities
Accomplishments that we're proud of
technology can enhance rather than replace traditional museum experiences, requiring careful balance between innovation and cultural preservation mission
What we learned
Implement hybrid connectivity Create progressive enhancement Establish content review processes
What's next for Interactive Cultural Heritage Experience
Blockchain and NFT Integration for Heritage Preservation
