Inspiration

What led me to this idea was remembering about having to help classmates and friends with Algebra homework.

What it does

This program has easily understandable lessons, detailed explanations for hard-to-grasp concepts, and quizzes for checking how much the user has learned.

How we built it

I built this program using Microsoft Visual Studio. It was programmed in C# and runs in the Windows Command Prompt.

Challenges we ran into

One challenge I ran into was the sheer length of the program, especially since I was working solo. I won't be anywhere close to done by the deadline, but I'll have at least one demo of each feature to showcase.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I'm proud of being able to overcome challenges and create this with very limited knowledge of C#.

What we learned

I learned quite a lot about working with the command line, especially using C#, while working on this. Many times, I went to the docs to look for examples that would help me, and many times, I got stuck. This was a great learning opportunity.

What's next for Interactive Algebra Tutor

I'll be working on this during my free time whenever I get the chance. It won't be completely finished and polished until later on, but it seems to have potential, at least in my eyes.
