Inspiration
We wanted to find a way to improve student life in a meaningful way and I remembered when I was a student and dreaded copying my notes from a picture on my phone.
What it does
This app takes in an image with text, could be a picture of a white board or a picture of a street sign for example, and it converts the text in the image to actual text that can be copy and pasted.
How we built it
We built this app using angular and Google’s Cloud Vision API
Challenges we ran into
There weren’t really any challenges, other than learning how requests to Google’s API need to be formulated before being posted.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We were able to integrate Google’s API with ease and we’re able to complete the app with no issues.
What we learned
We learned how Google’s Cloud Vision API works.
What's next for IntelliScribe
We plan on expanding and adding more features in the near future.
