Inspiration

Cyber attacks are becoming more common and more complex every day. As computer science students, we were curious about how AI could help detect threats faster than traditional security systems. While learning about modern cybersecurity challenges, we realized that most systems either detect threats or respond to them, but rarely do both intelligently. This inspired us to build IntelliGuard, an AI-powered system that can analyse cyber threats and suggest smart responses automatically.

What it does

IntelliGuard is an AI-powered cybersecurity platform based on the concept of a Multi-Domain Adversarial Decision Support System (MD-ADSS). It analyses security logs and suspicious activity, identifies possible cyber threats, and suggests actions like blocking IP addresses or alerting administrators. The system also provides a dashboard where users can monitor threats and risk levels in real time.

How we built it

Challenges we ran into

We built IntelliGuard using AWS Bedrock and Nova models for AI-based threat analysis and decision making. The backend processes cybersecurity logs and sends them to the AI agent, which evaluates the risk and suggests a response. We created a web dashboard to visualize threats, system risk levels, and recommended actions. The project combines cloud services, AI models, and a simple user interface to demonstrate how automated cybersecurity decision support can work.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud that we were able to successfully build a working AI-powered cybersecurity system within a limited time. Integrating cloud AI services, creating a working agent-based decision system, and building a functional dashboard was a big achievement for our team. It was also exciting to see our system detect simulated threats and generate intelligent responses.
