🚧 Challenges we ran into

One of our biggest challenges was bridging the cold precision of mathematical finance with the warmth of human strategy.

Calculating bond yield or tax impact is straightforward for a machine.

Explaining why it matters to someone’s future requires something deeper: AI empathy and contextual intelligence.

Another major challenge was preventing the AI from producing generic advice.

We invested heavily in precise prompt engineering to ensure Gemini could understand each user’s unique financial profile and generate truly actionable recommendations rather than textbook theory.

🏆 Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are especially proud of the Economic Time Machine.

Watching a modern portfolio visually react to a simulation of the 1929 market crash creates a genuine “aha moment” for users.

We are also proud of our Concept Lab, a feature that explains complex economic concepts — such as Quantitative Easing — through personalized analogies, ranging from cooking to video games.

This is a major step toward the democratization of financial knowledge.
