Inspiration

Insurance is, well, tiring. After analyzing Intact reviews; we've found that more than 25% of customers complained about claim processing and wait time. Let's be real, nobody likes the elevator music and time wasted. In further investigation, we can clearly notice that claim file is a big problem in the insurance field. Even a Forbes study states that around 70% of people now prefer to buy the insurance policy through their mobile phone.

What it does

Our solution is a working prototype of an app that provides instant claim, file, and buy policy! You'll be sure to see customer loyalty and satisfaction GO UP!

Features:

Facial Recognition: Enhances security measures, quick & efficient!
Chatbot Interaction: Connects with an infinite number of customers, hence bringing down marketing costs while receiving effective results!
Settles claims quickly and to customers' satisfaction!
Notification bar: Regularly updates user with their case progress and/or new deals & discounts!
Minimalist Design: Creates a user friendly environment, especially for older users who aren't as tech savvy!

How we built it

We drafted sketches on Miro and created the prototype through Adobe XD.

Challenges we ran into

Time was tight on our end, so we weren't able to accomplish as much as we'd like. Individual teammates possessed different skillsets, so we weren't able to collaborate on specific aspects of the project.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We researched, discussed, and came up with a functional MVP with market value in less than 24 hours! We split the work according to our strengths and effectively communicated throughout the duration of the hackathon.

What we learned

Insurance, insurance, insurance. No, but for real, we did learn a lot about insurance after conducting research about Intact and how we can improve their customer service.

What's next for Intact 2.0

Coding it with Swift! We'd like to transform our prototype into a mobile app that can be easily accessible by people around the world! Furthermore, we'd like to enhance some of our features like the chatbot, notification settings, and further develop our profile screen.
