Inspiration
I was constantly seeing product teams overwhelmed with feedback data which is highly unstructured for e.g. survey results, support tickets, social media comments, reviews. Understanding customer feedback is super critical and often very challenging. The core problem was the lack of insight. Most tools were just collectors without any actionable insights.
What it does
Insyte Pulse is an all-in-one cloud platform that allows organizations to:
- Collect feedback across multiple channels (email, web forms, social media, etc.)
- Analyze sentiment using NLP and LLMs
- Auto-classify comments into categories like Feature Request, Bug Report, Appreciation, Complaint, and Innovation Opportunity
- Identify emerging trends and cluster similar feedback themes
- Detect early reputation risks with sentiment tracking
- Highlight areas with high innovation potential based on recurring customer needs
How we built it
- Frontend: React + TailwindCSS for a clean, intuitive UI
- NLP & AI: OpenAI API for classification, sentiment analysis, and trend detection
- Database: PostgreSQL with multi-tenant schema support
- Hosting: Deployed on Netlify with CI/CD workflows via GitHub Actions
- Visualization: Chart.js and D3.js for dynamic insight graphs
- Auth: JWT-based token auth with role-based access control
Challenges we ran into
- Building domain-specific classifiers that correctly tag feedback into the right categories.
- Designing a multi-tenant architecture that scales while preserving data isolation.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
- Built a fully functional feedback intelligence system from scratch in a day.
- Created domain-aware sentiment models with explainability baked in.
- Developed an innovation signal detector that helps teams find recurring themes they can act on.
- Delivered a seamless multi-tenant SaaS experience with strong data privacy.
What we learned
- AI can extract unbiased feedbacks efficiantly.
- Visualization and Analytics are very critical for presenting insights in a digestible, and actional format
- Testing is non-negotiable.

- Real-time AI coaching for customer support based on sentiment score
- Advanced trend analytics and anomaly detection with alerts
