Inspiration

We were inspired by the difficulty patients face in understanding insurance policies, government schemes, hospital networks, and claim procedures. We wanted to make healthcare benefits simple, accessible, and actionable through one platform.

What We Built

InsureCare connects patients, hospitals, insurers, and government healthcare schemes. It provides policy management, document storage, hospital discovery, claim tracking, and an AI assistant that can explain healthcare benefits using relevant policy information.

What We Learned

We learned how to design a real-world multi-user platform, build a scalable frontend architecture, and use AI + RAG to provide more reliable, document-grounded information.

Challenges

Our biggest challenges were connecting multiple healthcare workflows while keeping the interface simple, and designing responsible AI that does not make medical diagnoses or guarantee insurance decisions.
