Online learning has led to a disconnect between the teacher and the students. Therefore, teachers struggle to make the classroom fun. To help reconnect, team nine proposes student democracy! Our program automizes organizing the ballots for instant-runoff voting (IRV).

Using IRV is a good way to keep an election fair. Voters rank their preferred options. Then, the program finds out which option or options are the least popular based on the first choices. The worst placing option or options get eliminated. As such, strategic voting is largely irrelevant and similar candidates get a fairer shot.

As using IRV takes a lot of effort, we made a program to automize part of it. While we struggled to swat the bugs, we are proud that we were able to use our limited knowledge to make such a program.
