When someone receives a robocall and they want to report it they can hang up the phone, then pick up the phone and enter a predetermined sequence of numbers (example: 15#... one, five, pound), a beep will sound to signify the robocall has been completed and the person can hang up.
What this does is it will automatically electronically report a number that a person has identified as a robocall into a database. The database will be consolidated daily to send out a report to a person who oversees the program. The report will show any phone numbers and the corresponding owners of those numbers that have been reported above a certain predetermined threshold for a day, week, month, and year.
The person overseeing the program can then begin to take the appropriate action against the robocall entity.
