Inspiration

Car accidents are becoming ever more frequent as cars age and lose cohesion between the components. As a result, a lot of time is wasted by insurers categorizing and documenting damages.

What it does

Using AI, the app auto-categorizes damages on the spot and transfers a the information to insurance and other services.

How we built it

• Setup React Native app + Firebase backend
• Train damage detection model (Roboflow)
• Build AR guidance + severity scoring
• Integrate insurance API + cost estimation
• Polish UI/UX + prepare pitch deck

Challenges we ran into

• Water was spilled on a team member's computer
• Another team member's computer had major sound issues
• The time crunch made deployment look impossible

Accomplishments that we're proud of

• Real-time communication
• Completing all 7 objectives on the challenge
• A cohesive, fun experience at the hackathon
