Inspiration

We both have a passion for the sneakers and streetwear industry, and one of us has experience working in the industry for six years. We found out that people who desire to trade their sneakers and streetwear feel it is risky to deal with some strangers, especially someone across the country. So that's why we want to create a marketplace that solves this problem

What it does

With InstaHeat, customers can trade as well as buy and sell their sneakers and streetwear with the ability to negotiate. After the deal is confirmed, both parties send their part of the deal to our authentication facility. We then release the products once everything is authenticated.

How we built it

We use Framer to develop our prototype mobile app

Challenges we ran into

Although we already have some experience in the field, we still need to research other competitors and find ways to make the most profit out of business. We need to ask ourselves many questions along the way to make sure we stay on the right track. We also struggled when trying to build a prototype because of the time limit.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We started with a good idea, and we were able to build an effective business plan through lots of communications and learning.

What we learned

We learned how to build a business plan from scratch. We got much advice from the wonderful mentors as well as helpful information from workshops.

What's next for InstaHeat

We want to seek funding and execute Instaheat beyond HackATL.
