Inspiration

When we were taking a walk outside we noticed that there were many lack-luster areas that had a lot more natural potential. we decided to improve this.

What it does

The user takes a picture of the area they want a plant in. From a list of native plants according to their location, the user picks a plant they would like to see in the area. Using StableDiffusion we integrate the plant into the area to make it look like it was there the whole time.

How we built it

We off a website template for the front end. We used Typescript for the frontend and Python for the backend to create the best product possible. Using a locally-downloaded version of StableDiffusion, we implemented the AI.

Challenges we ran into

The StableDiffusion model wasn't compatible with our computers so that took a lot of setup. Once we got the model, using the correct keywords and the time taken slowed us down.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We managed to make the StableDiffusion model run and we made the website look good.

What we learned

We learned many things like which platforms to use and how to integrated the StableDiffusion model.

What's next for InstaGrow

We refine the Ai model.
