Inspiration

Upon discovering the World Kindness Awards, a repository of heartwarming stories celebrating positive initiatives, our team recognized the need for a platform that could bring such stories to a wider audience. In a fast-paced world, where time is a precious commodity, the challenge lies in connecting busy individuals with the opportunity to give back.

That's why our project helps cumulative together all the organizations or people in need with inspiring stories together in one platform. Instead of doom scrolling on social media, people can learn and be inspired a lot through InstaGive. Making donations easier by like, share, click to donates. InstaGive emerged as a solution to aggregate inspiring stories and facilitate easy, habitual giving.

What it does



Donation Story Board

  • Users receive three daily curated stories, featuring charitable organizations, individuals, or causes.
  • Seamless in-app interactions allow users to like, share, or make direct donations.
  • Monthly donation options and one-time contributions empower users to support causes they resonate with.

    Good Going Board
  • Showcases community generosity with donor numbers, total contributions, and the impact of giving.
  • Users can share their charitable actions and inspire others through a dedicated feed.
  • Beneficiaries express gratitude, fostering a sense of connection and reinforcing the positive impact of giving.

    User Profile, Achievement, Tax Deductible Optimization
  • User profiles track individual giving history and achievements.
  • Badges and rewards acknowledge and celebrate users' philanthropic milestones.
  • Tax deductible optimization feature provides details for users to maximize tax benefits through charitable giving.

    Vetting and Application Process:
  • Establish a committee responsible for vetting and approving stories to ensure authenticity and impact.
  • Allow anyone to apply to have their story featured, with a thorough validation process.
  • Verified accounts instill trust and credibility, making users more comfortable with their donations.

How we built it

  • Secured a domain through GoDaddy.
  • Designed using Figma.
  • Implemented and manipulated the website through WordPress.

  • Initial plans for an app were adjusted due to time constraints and varied team locations.
  • Overcoming communication challenges with a globally distributed team.
  • We were working on zoom and sharing screens, which was the reason why it was inefficient. Security matters prevent us from doing this. It took us too much time figuring this out.
