Inspiration

My inspiration for this simple app was the lack of many apps that motivate you through the morning. Personally, I don't have anything to motivate me for the day as I do a usual boring routine, so why not uplift myself by creating this small awesome app.

What it does

Inspire Me begins with three types of categories you can choose from, then you will be able to select one of them and be prompted an item from any of your chosen category for the day. You can be able to select more if you feel down throughout the day, but be able to put a smile into one's face with the simplicity and easy navigation.

How we built it

I was able to build it by beginning on designing it through paper. Going with multiple prototypes, I was able to finalize on this final idea leading to the production stage. With the use of the IDE Visual Studio Code to code, I was able to finish the app and present it with an emulator.

Challenges we ran into

The thinking phase which is the brainstorm area was a difficult part because you have to think when making an App. You never know what ideas might be the perfect until you go through many iterations. ** Not only that, but being a one person team, it was difficult to code and with the limited time, I wasn't able to complete most of the features in mind, but managed to make the most out of it. **

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I am proud of the way the UI turned out for the App and being able to present the Main Core idea of the App. As well as, being relieved and astonished how I managed to built my first App without the need for much people (besides google of course) and making an idea to a reality.

What we learned

One person may not be enough for a team, but it won't stop you from trying, which is what led me to finish what I started.

What's next for Inspire Me

I would love to add more categories, include more awesome data, API, and all the good stuff within the main page. Not only that, but as well as to save your favorite quotes or messages from the main page being the future plans for "Inspire Me".
