Staying awake during the hackathon

What it does

Tracks face and eyes and determines if you're asleep by checking for amount of time that your eyes are closed, plays alarm to keep you awake during hackathon.

How we built it

Using python and openCV's Haar classifier models to track face and eyes, and applied our own implementation of the eye models to determine if eyes are opened/closed.

Challenges we ran into

Lighting problems with camera, python running slowly, too sensitive to blinking

Accomplishments that we're proud of

getting full eye tracking working, being able to determine if eyes are closed
