We recognized the need for a streamlined, concise, and personalized news experience, allowing users to stay informed without feeling overwhelmed. Our inspiration lies in enhancing productivity by cutting through the noise and delivering what truly matters to each individual.

What it does

insight is an AI-powered newsletter web app that curates personalized news for users based on their preferences. Rather than sifting through endless streams of information, users receive a customized and concise summary of relevant news tailored to their interests. It's the future of news consumption, making information accessible and digestible.

How we built it

We implemented cutting edge AI and APIs to developed a backend that understands and categorizes news from diverse sources. We combined this with a user-friendly front-end web interface where users can input their preferences. Together, these components allow for the creation of a bespoke newsletter for each user.

Challenges we ran into

One of our biggest challenges was ensuring that the AI/API's we used accurately captured and presented news that aligned with user preferences. Additionally, streamlining vast amounts of data and working through the full stack process behind insight provided many challenges, but overall greatly aided us in our journey to learn throughout the process.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're immensely proud of creating a tool that can make news consumption more manageable and efficient for users. The feedback loop, which allows users to refine their preferences, ensures continuous improvement. The integration of AI to provide genuinely tailored news has been a game-changer.
