Inspiration We had the inspiration from intuitive apps and the ability to manage efficiently personal and corporate finances, to have control over your numbers.
What it does Analyzes your finances and giving recommendations and the best options for you.
How we built it Frontend (Mobile App): We used Expo to build and launch the application for iOS, Android, and web. The app itself is built with React Native and TypeScript. For navigation, we used Expo Router. All the client-side logic and API connections to our services (Supabase and Claude) were written in JavaScript/TypeScript directly within the Expo app.
Backend & Database: We used Supabase as our backend-as-a-service. It handles our database, user authentication (like login and sign-out), and provides real-time data capabilities.
Artificial Intelligence: The app's intelligent features, like the financial assistant and insights, are powered by Claude. We use it to analyze financial data, provide recommendations, and power the chat interface.
Challenges we ran into We had some challenges at the time we wanted to implement the AI, naming the app was difficult because we wanted it to be alluring to the user.
Accomplishments that we're proud of we succesfully created an app that connects the information that Banorte gave us with a stylish design that connects the different features the app has.
What we learned The finance sector has a big area to improve in and can grow in many ways like ai implementation
What's next for Insight BNT app scalability, more ai implementations like a voice to voice call
