What it does
Our project, "Innovating for a Food Secure Future," aims to increase crop yields and reduce waste by utilizing AI, IoT sensors, and machine learning algorithms to optimize farming practices.
How we built it
We will be using various web technologies(html,css,php,javascript) and database management to creating a sufficient web app useful to two users, the farmer and consumer. We will also use AI-powered predictive analytics for weather forecasting and soil condition monitoring, and Collaborative tools for knowledge sharing among farmers
Challenges we ran into
-Ensuring the platform was not too overwhelming for various users
- Ensuring data privacy and security
- Addressing variability in farming practices and regions
Accomplishments that we're proud of
-Creating the platform to work for two different users, farmer and consumer -Establishment of a global community of farmers sharing best practices -Educating consumers on food waste management
