Inspiration
We are all planning on going into careers in STEM and we believe that having female role models in STEM when growing up would've made our journeys easier. We want to provide young girls with female role models through fun, educational games.
What it does
InnovateHer is a game that allows girls to explore various STEM fields such as circuits and chemistry.
How we built it
We used Python and PyGame. To play the game you need to unzip the folder and run the "StartGame.py" file to start the game
Challenges we ran into
We were struggling to implement the vision we had for the educational games due to constraints on time and experience
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud that we were able to implement various paths for the game, so young girls can explore various career paths
What we learned
We learned that with creativity and determination you can use more simple tools such as PyGame to make amazing projects
What's next for InnovateHer
We want to extend the InnovateHer game to include more career path options and include difficulty levels for different age groups
