Inspiration

The idea for InnoAR was born from a desire to revolutionize the way people shop for furniture. We noticed that many customers struggled with visualizing how new pieces would fit into their homes, leading to uncertainty and dissatisfaction with their purchases. Inspired by the potential of augmented reality (AR) to solve this problem, we set out to create a tool that would make furniture shopping more interactive, accurate, and enjoyable.

What it does

InnoAR allows users to visualize and place furniture pieces in their own space using augmented reality. The app provides a vast selection of high-quality, realistic 3D models of furniture, which can be customized and viewed in any room. This helps customers make informed decisions and design their ideal living spaces with confidence.

How we built it

Phase One: 3D Modeling:

We used Blender, a powerful 3D modeling software, to create lifelike 3D models of various furniture pieces. This phase involved meticulous attention to detail to ensure the models were realistic and accurately represented the actual furniture.

Phase Two: App Development:

Utilizing the Unity engine, we built the AR application. Unity's robust platform allowed us to integrate the 3D models seamlessly into an interactive AR environment. The app was developed using C# programming language, ensuring efficient performance and smooth user interactions.

Challenges we ran into

Building InnoAR came with its share of challenges:
