The inspiration behind InnerSerenity came from our deep passion for mental health and the transformative potential of blockchain technology. We recognized the challenges faced by individuals seeking mental health support and the need for a secure, accessible, and affordable platform that connects them with qualified professionals and supportive peer networks. We were driven by the vision of leveraging the power of blockchain to create a solution that would make mental health services more transparent, efficient, and inclusive.

What it does

InnerSerenity is a blockchain-powered platform that revolutionizes the way mental health support is accessed and delivered. It provides a seamless and private communication channel between individuals seeking help and experienced professionals or peer support networks. Users can connect, share their experiences, seek guidance, and receive the support they need in a safe and nurturing environment.

The platform also incorporates a unique event ticketing feature, where specialized professionals can organize transformative events and issue ERC1155 tokens to participants. These events foster personal growth, enlightenment, and self-discovery, offering a holistic approach to mental well-being.

How we built it

• Frontend: Frontend of InnerSerenity is responsible for providing users with an intuitive and interactive user interface to access the DApp's features.

• Sign in with metamask: InnerSerenity integrates the "Sign in with MetaMask" feature, which allows users to securely authenticate and interact with the DApp using their MetaMask wallet.

• Backend: The backend of InnerSerenity handles the server-side operations and serves as the intermediary between the frontend and other external services. It manages user authentication, handles data storage and retrieval and communication with other components.

• DynamoDB: DynamoDB is utilized as the database system within InnerSerenity's backend.

• InnerSerenity Smart contract: The InnerSerenity Smart Contract is deployed on the Fantom blockchain. It implements the core functionalities and logic of InnerSerenity, including user profile management, professional registration, appointment requests, conversations, and the rating system.

• Event Ticketing Smart Contract: The Event Ticketing smart contract facilitates the seamless organization and distribution of event tickets while ensuring transparency and security through the power of blockchain technology. This smart contract allows professionals specializing in various fields to create and issue ERC1155 tokens as event tickets.

Challenges we ran into

Throughout the development journey, we faced various challenges. One significant hurdle was ensuring the privacy and security of user data and communications while leveraging the transparent nature of blockchain technology. We implemented sophisticated encryption techniques and privacy protocols to protect user identities and maintain confidentiality.

Another challenge was creating an intuitive and user-friendly interface that accommodates both individuals seeking support and professionals organizing events. We conducted extensive user testing and iterative design iterations to ensure a seamless user experience for all stakeholders.
