Inspiration

InkBlock was inspired by the desire to make journaling more interactive and creative. We wanted users to tell their stories in a fun way, combining AI-driven comic art with personalized storytelling to make memories visually engaging and shareable

What it does

InkBlock transforms journal entries into themed comic strips using generative AI. Users can customize moods, styles, and maintain consistent characters, turning their words into vivid comic stories. Users can also share these comics as NFTs on the Solana blockchain.

How we built it

InkBlock uses Nosana and DIAN for generative AI, creating seamless comic-style outputs from user input. The web app was built with Django for backend management and integrates with blockchain technology to support NFT creation on Solana. React and Django for the webapp

Challenges we ran into

We faced challenges with character consistency, style customization, and NFT integration. Balancing AI creativity with user control also required careful model tuning.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We’re proud of building an app that brings a unique fusion of AI art, personalization, and blockchain to journaling. InkBlock successfully combines creativity with user engagement in a shareable format.

What we learned

We learned about fine-tuning generative models for consistency and balancing design flexibility with technical constraints in AI-driven character generation.

What's next for InkBlok

Next, we aim to expand style options, improve character customization and consistency, and enhance NFT functionalities for easier marketplace access.
