A child in the Democratic Republic of Congo, forced to flee conflict, is unable to prove their education history and restart school.
Without identity, people disappear.
Governments and aid organizations struggle to verify victims quickly, leading to delays in medical care, food distribution, and financial support. Worse, fraud and identity theft make humanitarian aid harder to distribute fairly.
This is why we built Inji for Crisis Response, a secure, offline-first digital ID system designed specifically for Africa’s unique challenges.

Pre-Disaster Enrollment & Backup
Governments, NGOs, and local organizations help individuals register their essential documents before a crisis. These credentials—including national IDs, health records, bank details, and school certificates—are stored securely in Inji’s offline-first wallet.Post-Crisis Recovery with Inji
Even if all physical documents are lost, individuals can prove their identity and access aid instantly using Inji.

Inji AidBot, our AI-powered offline chatbot, becomes a survivor’s personal crisis assistant when no medical personnel are nearby.
- First Aid Guidance – A woman in rural Malawi with an injured child can ask, 'How do I stop heavy bleeding?' and receive step-by-step medical instructions in her native language—even without internet.
- Emergency Navigation – A flood victim in Nigeria can find the nearest shelter using the Inji Facilities Map that will show a map of safe zones, hospitals, and water distribution points.
