Inspiration

During the hackathon, we had discussions about various projects, but we noticed that the inheritance system is not widely adopted in web3 and recognized the need for it. Everyone wants to leave their investments as inheritance after they pass away, but this is not yet common for coins and NFTs. When we saw this problem, we decided to come up with a solution and started building the project.

What it does

Everyone would like to transfer their investments. That's what we offer for our users. That's easy in real life but its not common in web3. You will choose a year 1-2-5 or 10 and that means if you didn't buy or sell anything for example in 1 year we will transfer your coins in our system to your guardians. Our slogan was don't let death cheat you! and that's why we built this project, to not let death cheat on people.

How we built it

We used NextJS, JavaScript, NodeJS, React and CSS for frontend and we used Solidity for contract. We've had really bad and hard times to learn them but here we are1

Challenges we ran into

None of us knew about NextJS and Solidity at first. We learnt them during the project. We didn't know each other before but thanks to out project manager we kept in contact all the time. We didn't know how to be a team because this was 2 of us first hackathon. We didn't know how to make a project with a team or how to build something in web3 we learnt it. We didn't know hot to apply we learnt it. We didn't know how to stay alive with 3 hours of sleep in 3 days we learnt it too :D

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of our project, we are proud of the nights we couldn't sleep to finish it, we are proud of our effort, we are proud of our team, we are proud of each other, we are proud of everything we've done for this project everyday we've tried to make it better. But most we are proud of making a great project together as 3 women. Winning or not, we've won many experiences, we as a 3 women we learnt how to build together and we actually built something TOGETHER. We didn't know many things but we learnt and worked so hard even at our final exams week. We learnt and kept deploying project everyday. Now we have something we are proud of.

What we learned

We learnt NextJS and Solidity. We learnt how to make project together. We learnt how to build together. We learnt how to be a team. We learnt how to manage project. We learnt about hackathons. We learnt how to stay alive without sleeping :D

What's next for Inheritance Wallet

We will make it available for other coins and hey even for NFT's. We will keep developing our website and make it better than ever. We will add balance to show user how much coin they have in our system. We will fix contract and make it actually work.
