Inspiration

We believe that this application can be used by everyone, since food is something that applies to everybody

What it does

It generates 5 unique recipes based off the list of ingredients you give it. It generates information such as ingredients you need in order to make the recipe, a link to make the recipe, the nutrient contents of the recipe, and even a picture of what the food will look like once it is finished.

How we built it

We built it using python for our backend, and HTML/CSS for our front end. To get the information for our recipes, we used spoonacular

Challenges we ran into

We had challenges getting the website to look like how we wanted to in terms of CSS, and had some backed challenges with getting the images to generate.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud that we got our program up and running so quickly and efficiently.

What we learned

We learned a lot about how to style using CSS, and a lot about API's and how they work

What's next for Ingredient Matcher

In the future, we plan to add a feature where users can upload an image, and AI will generate nutrient contents based off the size of the serving, and what is in the image
