Ingenious Path

Inspiration

The idea for Ingenious Path came from recognizing the growing need for career adaptability in a rapidly changing job market. Many people are curious about switching into engineering but don't know where to start. We wanted to create a platform that not only provides information about engineering disciplines but also uses AI to guide users through personalized career transitions. Our inspiration was to help people make informed decisions about changing careers with confidence.

What it does

Ingenious Path is a website that helps users explore different fields of engineering and offers personalized career advice. Users input their current skills and interests, and the AI analyzes this data to suggest engineering fields that align with their strengths. Additionally, the platform provides educational resources, job market insights, and potential career paths within engineering, making the transition process smoother and more informed.

How we built it

The first couple days were dedicated to creating the fron end. After developing the front end, we spent many days extensively researching the job market and ai technologies to incorporate an accurate ai bot.

Challenges we ran into

One of the main challenges was designing an AI model that could accurately analyze diverse career backgrounds and suggest relevant engineering fields. We also faced some difficulties in integrating real-time job market data from different sources, as well as ensuring the website was easy to navigate for users.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We’re proud of developing a user-friendly platform that makes career changes more accessible. Our AI model performs well in suggesting career paths, providing personalized and insightful recommendations based on individual backgrounds. Additionally, we successfully integrated various APIs to deliver up-to-date job market data, and we’re proud of how intuitive and informative the platform feels for users at any stage of their career journey.

What we learned

What's next for Ingenious Path

In the future, we aim to expand Ingenious Path by incorporating more advanced AI capabilities for skill gap analysis and personalized learning plans. We also plan to partner with educational platforms to provide users with direct access to courses and certifications. Another goal is to improve the real-time job data feature by collaborating with more industry-specific job boards and employers, helping users find opportunities more efficiently.
