Inspiration

I was inspired by the many saddening stories of African and Southeast Asian countries that did not have access to developed infrastructure, leading to a devastating cycle of not having a developed economy due to this fault. This inspired me to create a company that would contribute to solving this issue.

What it does

The website introduces plans of implementing infrastructural components around the globe, how this is accomplished, and its effects. It convinces governments to give us funding in order to construct said infrastructure in their countries.

How we built it

I built the website using Wix, which made the process slightly less daunting for me. After conducting research, I put the information that pertained to infrastructural construction on the website.

Challenges we ran into

When building the website, I ran into a particularly frustrating issue of it looking different on my computer and chromebook, leading to me continuously having to reload the website in order to see what was going wrong. Eventually, it was realized that dotted lines indicated zones not displayed on certain devices, and the process was smoother from there.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I am proud of creating a website by myself, even though it was assisted heavily with the website building website. I am also proud of learning more about bridges and roads, despite not being heavily invested in these topics.

What we learned

I learned that roads and bridges' materials and structures matter, significantly altering costs and structural integrity under different circumstances. Additionally I learned the effects that these components of infrastructure have on societies around the world.

What's next for Infrastructural Proposal

I may expand the website in the future to cover additional infrastructure such as energy and internet, or create more websites pertaining to this topic.
