Inspiration
Inspired by our shortcomings as students and family/friends around us, we created InfoSnap for people who struggle to pay attention to long articles.
What it does
InfoSnap is a Google Chrome extension used as an all-in-one study tool. It summarizes long text into shorter, simpler explanations, creating them into flashcards, mind maps, and more!
How we built it
We used Figma for the UX/UI design, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for the code, and we conducted user research via Google Forms to understand what our peers wanted in the extension.
Challenges we ran into
- We ran into a lot of challenges!
- One of the most prominent ones was the lack of time we had in the video to fully showcase the project.
- It was a lot of our group members' first time using certain technologies such as JavaScript, so it was tough to learn a language on the fly.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We created a beautiful product in the span of 12 hours!
What we learned
We learned and gained a deeper understanding of Product Management, UX/UI design, Web Development, and working with AI.
What's next for InfoSnap
After a small break, InfoSnap will be returning better than ever!
