What inspired us
We were inspired by our biogeochemical systems teacher last year, Mr. Bush. In his class, we learned a lot about carbon footprints and how it affects our world. We thought we should use some of the information we got from him, and from the research, we did, and share it with everyone else in the form of a quiz.
What it does
As we mentioned before our quiz is used to hopefully inform and spread the word about climate change and carbon footprints.
How we built it
We used a website called Replit using the language python to build our game.
Challenges we ran into
As none of us have a huge amount of coding experience, it was a little hard at first when we were initially getting started but we eventually got the hang of it.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
This is 2/3 of our first time making a game like this so that's something to be proud of.
What we learned
We learned a few things about carbon footprints and climate change that we didn't know before. When it came to actually coding, we learned how to better our knowledge of the python language
What's next for Technica Carbon Footprint Project
I think it would be fun to add a lot more questions, and maybe find a way to make open-ended questions rather than all multiple-choice. As well as decorating it to make it look more appealing in general.
