Inspiration

We all know this time has been a major setback for all of the kids who were wanting to go to school and cherish education because of the pandemic and everything. So, the idea was to make an app integrated with a toy which will make education fun for the little ones.

What it does

It is primarily a web app through which kids can learn about new informations about numbers and everytime the app gives a new information an LED will blink in a toy.

How we built it

The frontend is designed by using HTML, CSS, Javascript, the CORS API and the numbers api. And for the toy, we decided to use the blinking LED model of an arduino UNO and connect it with the web app through the ESP8266 wifi module.

Challenges we ran into

The scripting with the javascript in the front end was a major challenge and also to write the coding for the ESP8266 wifi module is very challenging.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud that we were able to submit the idea along with a complete project and demo within this short period of time.

What we learned

We learned time management and also learned a lot on brain storming of ideas.

What's next for Information with a twist

We will add new features in the app. We will integrate everything and we are keeping the project open source, so everyone is free to contribute in the project.
