Inspiration

Stock information is very important for individual investors. At present, if one does not pay some fees, he or she is not able to get the in-time stock price. A time delay about 30 minutes and even longer will halt the individual investors to maximize their profits. We want to develop a free stock information gathering code.

What it does

Scripts will gather the stock information and can also provide some more information to help analysis.

How I built it

I use python to WebCrawler the information and make some plots.

Challenges I ran into

It is difficult to find the suitable python software packages, although there are many online. Most of the packages are not working or not so good.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

I found the package and make some plots with python.

What I learned

python web crawler basics and plot basics.

What's next for information gathering and statistics

In the future, I want to plot more plot to help analysis. I have built the websites, database (plsql) and found the gallery for plots(echarts, google charts). I tried to connect the code and database together. Time is not enough.
