Infographic Generator

Inspiration

We were inspired by the frustration of turning raw data into compelling visual stories. Existing tools required either advanced design skills or tedious manual chart configuration, leaving a gap for a truly intelligent, automated solution.

What it does

The AI Infographic Generator transforms raw data and a simple story description into a complete, multi-chart infographic instantly. The AI automatically selects chart types, designs the layout, and explains its reasoning—no design skills needed.

How we built it

• Frontend: Flask, Chart.js, HTML/CSS
• AI Engine: Google Gemini 2.5 Pro with structured JSON output
• Backend & Auth: Firebase Authentication & Firestore
• Deployment: Google Cloud Run, Container

Built a working MVP that fully automates infographic design from end-to-end.

AI is great at visual design reasoning. Users need to see the "why" behind the AI's choices.

What's next for Infographic Generator

• Image/PDF Export: Let users download and share their infographics.
• Custom Styling: Allow users to specify "make it more professional" or use brand colors.
• Template Library: Pre-designed layouts for different use cases (reports, presentations, social media).
