Inspiration Our product was inspired by the amount of time financial professionals spend analyzing data. We noticed that many people in the financial sector spend hours going through complex data to find insights, and we wanted to make that process faster, easier, and more accurate. Our goal was to create a tool that helps people get insights more quickly by using visualizations and a user-friendly interface.

What it does The product helps financial professionals analyze data more efficiently by providing visual tools that make it easier to understand complex information. It turns data into clear, easy-to-read charts and graphs, allowing users to get insights much faster. Instead of spending a lot of time manually going through spreadsheets or case studies, they can use our tool to quickly find patterns and make better decisions.

How we built it We built the product using Supabase for our backend, Vite for fast development and build times, and React for creating an interactive and responsive user interface. Supabase helps us store and manage data securely, while Vite and React allowed us to quickly prototype and create a smooth user experience. We also focused on making sure the tool integrates easily with other financial platforms so users can access all their data in one place.

Challenges we ran into One of the biggest challenges was making sure the data visualizations were both simple enough for everyone to understand but also detailed enough for professionals to find value in them. Financial data is really complex, so finding that balance was tough. Another challenge was ensuring our tool worked well with different financial systems and could handle large amounts of data without slowing down.

Accomplishments that we're proud of We’re really proud of how easy our product is to use. Even though the financial data is complex, we’ve received great feedback from users saying that the tool helps them get insights much faster. We’re also happy that we were able to build a platform that works well with different financial systems, which makes it more useful for a wide range of users.

What we learned We learned a lot about the importance of keeping the user experience simple while still providing powerful features. Financial professionals are busy, so they need a tool that saves them time and doesn’t require a lot of learning. We also learned how to integrate different technologies, like Supabase and React, to build a system that’s fast, reliable, and easy to scale.

What's next for Infocal In the future, we plan to add more advanced features like predictive analytics and AI-driven insights to help users make even smarter decisions. We also want to expand our integrations with more financial tools to make the platform even more useful. Overall, we’re focused on making the product more powerful and user-friendly based on feedback from our users.
