Inspiration
Independent content creators often have to manage their social media performance, brand collaborations, content schedules, and deadlines across multiple platforms and tools. For beginners, keeping everything organised can be overwhelming. I wanted to build Influentia, an AI-powered creator assistant that brings these workflows together and helps creators decide what to do next, rather than simply displaying statistics.
What it does
Influentia is an AI-powered business management workspace for content creators. It combines content performance insights, brand deal tracking, deadline management, and an AI assistant in one place. Creators can explore their content metrics, organise brand collaborations, manage upcoming tasks, and ask the AI assistant for recommendations based on available data. My goal is to make creator management more accessible through a simple, intuitive interface.
How I built it
I used Google AI Studio to develop the application with AI-assisted coding and Gemini-powered intelligence. The application includes a creator dashboard, content analytics with CSV uploads, brand collaboration management, a planner, and an AI assistant. I designed the interface around a colourful visual identity and simplified navigation to make it easier for creators to use.
Challenges I faced
One of my biggest challenges was balancing functionality with usability. A creator management platform can quickly become cluttered with metrics, charts, and technical terminology. I worked to simplify the experience while preserving useful analytics and business management capabilities. Another challenge was ensuring that AI recommendations could use available data meaningfully instead of producing generic advice. I also had to prioritise the most important features within a limited development timeline.
What I learned
Building Influentia taught me how to translate a broad problem into a functional product, use AI-assisted development to accelerate implementation, and think critically about user experience. I learned that a useful AI product is not just about adding a chatbot; it must connect relevant information to practical actions.
What's next
I plan to improve the reliability of AI recommendations, refine the mobile experience, and explore integrations with social media platforms and creator workflows. My long-term vision is to help creators spend less time managing their work and more time creating.
