In the new normal there is a high risk to cabin crew members and other flight staff as they are unable to maintain social distancing within the confines of an aircraft.

Technology has allowed the airline industry to become more connected, yet the inflight catering is done manually which increases the chance for exposure between crew members and other passengers. Similarly, the other interactions happening within the aircraft can also be optimised.

We would like to use this opportunity to explore how technology can automate the inflight servicing and ensure the safety of Airline industry employees and increase the confidence to fly for future passengers. We are aiming to create a system that can connect crew members and passengers to allow inflight service with minimal human interaction.
