Jobly makes the career preparation easy and personalized. As students, we felt frustrated with the process: high volume of applications, generic advice recommendations, and a lack of motivation. We made Jobly to automate and drive results for those aspiring to land internships and new grad roles

What it does

Jobly is an AI-powered career platform that helps job seekers at every step of their journey:

  • AI Resume Builder: Creates optimized resumes that highlight your unique value proposition
  • Cover Letter Generator: Crafts personalized cover letters tailored to specific job descriptions
  • Networking Assistant: Generated tailored networking messages to get interviews and expand network
  • Interview Simulator: Offers realistic interview practice with AI-powered feedback and key recommendations for improvement
  • Career Coach: Delivers personalized chat guidance on career transitions and professional development

How we built it

NextJs, Typescript, Tailwind, Supabase, Vercel, Stripe, Cursor

Challenges we ran into

  • Designing the data structure for the resume and an intuitive resume building experience
  • Implementing the realtime interview transcription
  • Time management: finishing everything on time.

  • Successfully integrated multiple AI use cases into a cohesive platform
  • Created a user-friendly interface that makes complex career tools accessible
  • Finishing the build in less than 3 days: fully live and monetized
