Inflation aggregator

Inspiration

I am building things to help people, in this case my best friend who's working for a reinsurance company.

What it does

It removes the burden of fetching inflation data everyday for every country.

How we built it

Very simple streamlit app, the backend is done with fastapi and we're using:

1. Exa for internet search
2. PremAI for url summurization
3. AIMLAPI for content structuration
4. aiXplain for single missing data points

Challenges we ran into

Getting the different AI to work together required a lot of prompt engineering, which we eventually overcame, like finding the right information on the web + having the AI summarizing in a good way.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Getting to fetch structure information on a usecase that is tricky as information is hard to find in a structured way was definitely a big thing, and we're proud it's working.

What's next for Inflation aggregator

Getting it to be used by insurance brokers :)
