Inspiration
Providing a virtual environnement for people to shop online with ease and with the most realistic vision of the items they need to buy right from the comfort of their home, the idea was inspired from modern meta-world concepts that allow clients to join in and take a virtual tour of the shop they're interested in and search through its listed items.
What it does
Allow users to try items out virtually using augmented reality and vendors to host their products online to be tried out, bringing the meta-verse and the real world closer together and permitting clients a fun, stress-free experience to try out clothing articles including shoes, glasses, pants, t-shirts, jackets and more
How we built it
Using augmented reality technologies combined with machine learning and computer vision python models accessible through a modern web platform
Challenges we ran into
Making the AI models work especially fitting them using our own resources considering they were originally built to be ran on powerful servers, this made both the development and debugging process long and tedious, also finalizing our business aspect was a bit tricky seeing as the Algerian e-commerce market is a bit touch and go and the common resistance for change we're used to seeing.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
The augmented reality models and how well they ended up working, also how well we were able to communicate our idea to the judges and just how well they adopted it.

What's next for INFIT
3D virtual shops! this was our intial concept but due time and resource limitations we decided to cut it down to just clothing shops, but the idea was to have a sort of meta experience where clients can walk around a commercial center in AR and shop like they would normally.
