What it does -A smart waste management solution designed to streamline the process of PPE waste segregation and reduce contamination. By utilizing advanced sensor technology and AI, our system accurately identifies and categorizes waste, ensuring proper disposal and recycling.
How we built it -developed a network of smart waste bins equipped with sensors to detect different types of PPE. These bins are connected to a centralized monitoring system that analyzes data and provides real-time insights. We also implemented a user-friendly interface to facilitate easy interaction with the system.
Challenges we ran into - The challenges that would be faced to implement this solution is to ensure accurate sensor readings in various environmental conditions. calibrating the sensors and developing robust algorithms to filter out noise and interference. Another challenge is user adoption, as it required a change in behavior and habits.
