I wanted to apply my skills to a real-world challenge

What it does

Predicts whether or not a customer will churn

How we built it

I preprocessed the database which included data cleaning and feature engineering. Then I fit a random forest classifier to the data and found the optimum parameters

Challenges we ran into

Preprocessing data is very tedious work that needs to be done diligently.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I am proud of the high accuracy and f1 scores of the model

What we learned

I learned more about parameter tuning for random forest classifiers.
