Inspiration
I’ve almost suffered a from an infinite database loop with firestore on 2 occasions and I wished that there had been database alerts for this type of thing or a better way to keep track of my usage on mobile.
What it does
Parses the usage metrics from Firestore in a nice mobile friendly way and also calculates the bill.
How we built it
With SwiftUI and swiftyjson and alamofire to parse the json from the content monitoring api for firestore usage metrics.
Challenges we ran into
Understanding the https request and parameters and access tokens, the documentation helped me a lot.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Reading all the documentation and integrating google oauth 2 to obtain the access tokens and parsing the json data of the metrics and different time intervals.
