Inspiration
When thinking of ways to prevent sickness and disease, providing more information to those who want it came to mind. By being more aware people can be more hygienic and prevent getting sick in the first place.
What it does
Offer a platform to report being sick, and give the ability to see a general heatmap of how disease is spreading around in the area.
How I built it
Coupling a java backend in AWS to store data with an android app for the front end to provide a solid experience for those interested and concerned for the well-being for the others
Challenges I ran into
Creating a heatmap, connecting an Android app to a Spring REST service, quickly creating an Android app.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
