inFallible is a backpack for those with constant seizures or fainting conditions that detects when you fall, deploying smart padding from hidden compartments to cushion the impact and protect you from serious injury.

Our initial target market includes people who prioritize comfort and safety and those individuals who follow behaviors where they may already carry medication, water, electrolytes, or other health essentials throughout the day. Because of this, they are more likely to value a product that fits naturally into something they already use rather than requiring them to wear an entirely separate medical device (which could be far too visible). The complete offering of our product also serves caregivers and family members who want to reduce anxiety about a loved one being injured while alone. Meaning college students also benefit from this product since they can focus on studying and working rather than having to forfeit opportunities in order to take care of loved ones.

Falls caused by sudden loss of consciousness can lead to bone fractures, facial lacerations, soft tissue injuries, or even head trauma, while delayed communication can leave the user without help and in great danger long after the initial incident. inFallible addresses both problems by 1) combining physical protection with emergency response as the smart padding deploys within seconds to reduce impact, and 2) a detection system which sends an alert to trusted contacts (and when necessary, emergency services). Unlike products that only detect a fall after it happens, inFallible is positioned in the market as an everyday safety system that helps lessen injury severity, shorten the time before help is contacted, and gives users the confidence to remain independent.
