What is IndiLink
IndiLink is a platform that connects indigenous groups with potential buyers, investors or partners. The idea is to develop a platform for B2B2C business model as well as showcases what these indigenous group can offer in an innovative and immersive way.
Problem Statement
Culture Heritage and the knowledge of indigenous people, lacks exposure. Despite having ample product of their heritage to offer, competing with the modern way of doing business especially with little access to resources to learn, their heritage and culture are hidden.
With the newer generations wanting to migrate to the urban area due to preference in their way of living. These culture and heritage are dying. One possible reason to this points back to their heritage and culture not getting the exposure it needs to grow. This also rise another concern in the economy. Where there is a potential that the economy could grow.
- Lack of access to resources. Ingenious people often lack access to the resources they need to bring their ideas to market. This can include funding, mentorship, and access to a network of other entrepreneurs.
- Lack of visibility. It can be difficult for ingenious people to get their ideas seen by investors. This is because they may not have the connections or the resources to market themselves effectively.
- Lack of credibility. Investors are more likely to invest in people who have a rack record of success. This can be a challenge for ingenious people who are just starting out.

1. Virtual Tour The platform offers am immersive tour on a virtual "Rumah Panjang". Here, users will be able to see different products, culture and heritage the indigenous group.
2. Networking IndiLink acts as a platform that connects indigenous people internationally targeting businesses with a B2B2C model. This is done through showcasing the products and businesses of indigenous people.
How we built it
-The platform is built on top of React. A JavaScript library that allows for the use of components. The website is built using react so there are room for scalability. -the 3D models are made using a free 3D software called Blender and then export it to the Unity to add the functions to move and make it more interactive for the users
Challenges we ran into
Time Constraints While working on this project we had other major projects. We had a hard time managing our time and our energy.
Lack of Resources As we were looking for materials to put in our project. There is a lack in quality resources. The images are from tourism website, random blogs and social medias.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
-We are content for being able to come up with a great idea for project. We know that given different circumstances, we would be able to better the quality of this project in the technical side.
What we learned
We learned that indigenous groups are not restricted to a certain area but is shared by one big region. Therefore the culture and heritage or a region are similar because they are rooted from one indigenous origin.
Future Enhancements for IndiLink
Integrate an E-learning system targeting specifically indigenous groups that needs better knowledge and understanding of doing business
In the Virtual Tour, instead of only showing framed pictures, we plan to show 3D models of the indigenous products.
-A filtering system based on preference for businesses or investors looking into engaging with these indigenous groups.
-Connect the Indigenous group with experts on business to develop their skills.
