Indie Anna Bones and his family have a nice existence, that is until Covid-19 turns their world upside down. The parents have to navigate a new world of What Ifs and the kids have many emotions they are dealing with, and Indie is dealing with it the best way he can, by being a good dog.
Inspired by the kiddos having to deal with this time of Covid-19, I wanted to write a book from a perspective that they could relate to, but wasn't necessarily theirs. I found it challenging to write in such a way that wasn't frightening, but was intelligent enough for kids to find interesting.
