Inspiration -Every great idea starts with a problem. Our inspiration came from...
What it does During this hackathon, we dove deep into:
Working with the Chrome Extensions API
Using OpenAI / Hugging Face / TensorFlow for AI
Managing asynchronous tasks in JavaScript
Handling privacy and permissions in browser extensions
How we built it Our project uses the following stack:
Frontend: HTML + CSS + JavaScript (for Chrome Extension UI)
Backend: Python (Flask API) or directly integrated ML models
AI/ML: OpenAI GPT-4 for natural language processing
Tools: VS Code, GitHub, Figma for design
Challenges we ran into CORS issues when connecting the extension to external APIs
Rate limits with AI APIs during testing
Making the UI responsive and non-intrusive on all websites
Accomplishments that we're proud of-Built a working Chrome extension in less than 48 hours
Integrated real AI in a usable product
Collaborated effectively under pressure
What we learned- Throughout the hackathon, we gained valuable hands-on experience in both technical and collaborative aspects of building a real-world AI project. We learned how to develop a Chrome extension from scratch, including how to work with the Chrome Extensions API, manage browser permissions, and interact with web page content. Integrating AI into the extension taught us how to connect frontend JavaScript with powerful language models using APIs like OpenAI. We also improved our understanding of asynchronous programming and how to handle API calls effectively in a browser environment. Beyond the technical skills, we learned how to work efficiently as a team under time pressure, divide responsibilities, and stay aligned with our goals. Designing a clean and user-friendly interface helped us appreciate the importance of UI/UX in real products. Most importantly, we discovered how to debug quickly, iterate fast, and turn an idea into a working product in just a short amount of time.
What's next for IND 2.0- my idea is india 2025 make modern india and i am bulid ai my purpose is ai thing human like that human mind
