Inspiration

Our experiences in pre-IB with teachers who deliver lengthy lectures.

What it does

Transcripts lessons and conversations and responds to questions within the transcript or from the user.

How we built it

Created an RAG model that retreives information through a transcription and pushes information through an API to summarize or answer questions.

Challenges we ran into

Making the OpenAI API retreive the transcripted text and converting the text using Flask.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Creating the project and making it usable nativley.

What we learned

How to automate systems using APIs, how to use Flask, creating an RAG, importing code into a website.

What's next for Inactivia

More animations, more uses of input, better visuals (e.g. buttons, colors, text format), toggle questions tab, light/dark themes, implement a faster detector.
